Pub & Restaurant Stocktaker

Retail Advisor/Stocktaker. Are you a Bar Manager / Pub Manager or Restaurant Manager or an Assistant Manager or Supervisor within the catering and hospitality industry looking for a better work / life balance? How about having Bank Holidays off and having 8 / 10 days off over the Christmas period? nGeneration is seeking either an experienced Stocktake Auditor / Stock-taker Advisor or a hospitality professional who’s worked at management / supervisory level and has experience in Wet and Dry Stocktakes within their Bar / Pub or Restaurant. This is much more than a normal stocktaking role. You will develop long-term business relationships with your allocated clients, providing professional advice and support relating to running a hospitality business as well as carrying out your stocktaking responsibilities for the company.

Responsibilities

Manage a number of leading restaurants, pubs, bars and retail entertainment venues and visit them regularly to carry out Wet and Dry Stocktakes; Analyse stocktake results and run stocktake reports on EPoS systems; Work with individual businesses to help improve stock utilisation and profitability; Develop long-term business relationships with allocated clients, providing professional advice and support relating to running a hospitality business; Carry out stocktaking responsibilities for the company; Travel around the designated area using own vehicle

Requirements

Previous experience working in a similar role, or hospitality management/supervisory experience (e.g., Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, Pub/Bar Manager, Supervisor) with wet and dry stocktaking experience; Must have experience using EPoS systems such as running stocktake reports, adding items; Excellent organisation, time-management and administrative skills; Excellent customer service and communication skills; Must be PC literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office including MS Excel; Good understanding of stock yields and stock depletion; Access to own vehicle

Nice to have

Previous experience working in a similar role; Experience as Stocktake Auditor or Stocktaker Advisor
