Quantity Surveying Apprentice - London (September 2027 Start)

Our school leaver programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. You'll join JLL on a 5-year trainee programme, working towards completing a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management and Quantity Surveying / General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Quantity Surveyors provide expert advice on construction costs, which is why they are also known as Cost Consultants or Cost Managers. Our team ensures that proposed projects are affordable and offer good value for money.

Responsibilities

Get involved in real work from day one to help clients achieve their ambitions; Research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impact our work; Learn how to use various property systems/databases to collect information for determining the best solution for clients; Build relationships across the business and with clients to ensure a great service; Work with your team to draft and deliver work such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports; Visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings; Take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development

Requirements

GCSEs C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent); A-Levels 72 UCAS points, equivalent of 3 x D grades; A curious mindset so you can learn and grow with us; Passionate and eager to contribute your thoughts, create fresh ideas, and challenge yourself; An interest in the property industry and how JLL can shape its future; Ability to connect with others easily and build strong relationships; Permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours
