Radiology Technologist (per diem)

Under the direction of the Department Manager, performs interpretive, patient care and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. As well as performing Bone Density exams

Responsibilities

Performs interpretive, patient care and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients; Performs Bone Density exams; Provides patient care including confirming patient identity, explaining procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and modesty; Practices radiation protection and minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff; Prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and digital imaging equipment; Produces and evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality; Documents required information on patient's medical record; Participates in continued learning and embraces technological advances

Requirements

Six (6) months to be fully proficient; Fully proficient in Bone Density; RT - MA - Radiologic Technologist (Massachusetts); Radiography Technology (MA) - Radiation Control Program (Massachusetts); Radiography Technology Temporary License (MA) - Radiation Control Program (Massachusetts); Varied shifts as needed
