Radiology Technologist, PRN, High Point Clinic. Location: High Point, NC - 1814 Westchester Dr. Shift Schedule: PRN - As needed. Pay Range $26.55 - $39.85.

Responsibilities

Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician; Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity; Prepares and administers contrast media as required; Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary; Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills; Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology; Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required; Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
