Reconciliation/Corporate Actions, Senior Analyst

The Corporate Actions Senior Analyst is responsible for the daily reconciliation of both Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions. The successful candidate will assist with co-ordinating the flow of required information between various stakeholders, including the Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Treasurer's offices, Fund Accounting and Custodian banks.

Responsibilities

Daily reconciliation of both Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions; Assisting with coordinating the flow of required information between various stakeholders, including the Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Treasurer's offices, Fund Accounting and Custodian banks; Fulfilling the department policies associated with corporate actions reporting and data management; Interacting with many groups within the Fidelity organization and representing the business to customers and business partners; Responsibility for high quality reconciliation of Mandatory and Voluntary corporate actions; Managing the communication of complex corporate actions to internal stakeholders; Escalating issues appropriately; Demonstrating a strong team-work ethic

Requirements

4+ years of relevant Financial Services experience; 2+ years of Corporate Actions experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; In-depth knowledge of Corporate Actions concepts and practices; Understanding of complex Corporate Actions events; Knowledge of the key elements of Corporate Actions processing; Knowledge of fund accounting, the custody industry and mutual fund operations; Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively; Ability to identify and escalate high risk items; Strong written and verbal communications skills; Time management skills; Analytical and problem-solving skills; Innovative mindset - look for new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions
