Levine Children's Specialty Center is an outpatient pediatric practice that cares for patients from the ages of 0-21. The practice has 8 different pediatric specialties including genetics, rheumatology, surgery, infectious disease, nephrology, physical medicine and rehab, pulmonology, and GI. Department: 36811 Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Gastroenterology: MCP. Hours per week: 40. Schedule: Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population; Assesses needed care and collaborates with patients, and others, to provide clinical solutions; Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment; Actively participates in team conferences and helps assess patient education needs

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice to have

One year of Registered Nurse experience preferred
