Baptist Beaches is looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for Part-time Days.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsibilities include knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation with ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure. This position requires call.

*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

Education/Degree Required

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Licenses and Certifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition; Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement; Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care; Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital; Coordinate care provided by ancillary services; Act as the patient advocate; Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Requirements

1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred; 1-2 years Telemetry Experience; Hospital Experience
