Baptist Medical Center Beaches is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.; Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.; Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.; Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.; Advocate for patients and support individualized plans of care.; Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.; Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.

Requirements

Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.; BLS certification required, additional maternal/child health certifications preferred.; Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women's Services, or a related specialty preferred.; Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.; Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive nursing experience.
