Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg General

Join our 16-bed General Med/Surg Unit at Aurora BayCare, where you'll care for patients with long-term chronic illnesses and apply critical nursing thought processes to manage multiple disease states. Work in a collaborative, supportive environment alongside a dedicated team of RNs, CNAs, and LPNs. Schedule: full-time nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
