Registered Nurse (RN) Ortho Neuro

The 24-Bed Ortho Neuro Surgical Care Unit at Magnet designated Sherman Hospital is dedicated to providing quality care to Ortho/Neuro surgical patients. The team is collaborative, supportive, and highly engaged, and the nursing team spans from new graduates to seasoned professionals, alongside dedicated nursing assistants. Full-time days, 36 hours per week, schedule 7a - 7p.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
