Reinstatement Operative

Comex 2000 is currently seeking experienced and reliable Reinstatements Operatives to support our telecoms delivery programme across Yorkshire. If you are a motivated contractor who takes pride in delivering high-quality reinstatement works and can work independently to agreed standards, we would like to hear from you. This is under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Responsibilities

Carrying out interim and permanent reinstatements to footways, carriageways and verges in accordance with the NRSWA specification; Restoring highways and public areas to industry standards following excavation and repair works, ensuring all evidence (data and photographs) is captured on company-supplied assets or approved systems; Being competent in the use of Stihl Saws, Wacker Plates, Trench Compactors and other associated plant, whilst maintaining the appropriate certifications; Identifying and rectifying defects where required to ensure compliance with client and local authority requirements; Completing appropriate paperwork and records for daily works, including job sheets, risk assessments, plant sheets and vehicle checks; Demonstrating experience in risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong focus on health and safety responsibilities; Managing workloads effectively to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and within required timescales

Requirements

Good physical health; Experience in reinstatement works within telecommunications, utilities or civils environments; Industry-recognised street works qualifications; Hold a full UK driver's licence; NRSWA Units 1-9 (essential); Ability to work independently and manage your own workload; A strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship and maintaining compliance standards
