Reinsurance Contracts Council Lead

In this role you’ll play a key role in supporting their underwriting hubs in the US and Bermuda by providing expert advice on technical contract wordings, along with guidance, training, and product development support.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in supporting their underwriting hubs in the US and Bermuda by providing expert advice on technical contract wordings, along with guidance, training, and product development support; Lead all aspects of inwards treaty reinsurance wordings and contracts for P&C business, mainly in Americas (North America, Latin America and Caribbean); Build internal and external wordings networks; engage with market bodies to raise standards

Requirements

Extensive experience (10+ years) in reinsurance including 7 years in contract wordings; Experience with new technology to enhance wordings review speed and quality

Nice to have

Preferably gained in a (re)insurance company, at a broker or in private practice
