Responsibilities

Complete maintenance and repairs for small to medium home and commercial projects; Make recommendations and manage customer expectations about scope of work and costs; Deliver a great experience to create lifelong repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Meet revenue targets by finding additional ways to serve customers; Invoice appropriately, source materials, and collect payment; Perform work correctly the first time to uphold the one-year guarantee

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting (inside and out), drywall work, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing, and familiarity with building codes; Self-manage as you'll be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools, including the ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties
