Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist (Contract) - Miami, Florida

Our mission is to deliver virtual-first, data-driven pulmonary care at scale, ensuring patients and clinicians have access to high-quality respiratory care–no matter where they are. We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities

Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device; Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy; Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review; Monitor patient safety during procedures; Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols; Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site

Requirements

CRT or RRT; CPFT or RPFT; Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration; Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology; Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius); Available two to five days per week
