Retail Service Specialist

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations; Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrival as needed; Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently using the electronic outside purchase order ledger; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently, refunds are issued accurately, and returned merchandise is processed or staged correctly; Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed; Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule and clock in/out according to company policy; Perform store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, money/deposit verification and security, bank deposits, and securing the building and delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Strong communication skills; Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to have

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts; Automotive systems and repair knowledge; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
