Responsibilities

Oaks Auckland Hotel is excited to expand our Room Attendant department, with multiple Part Time opportunities now available.; We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!; About the job:; Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.; Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.; Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.; Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.; Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.; Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment. Shift Details (subject to change):; Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday; Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00am

Requirements

Successful candidates will have:; Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.; Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.; Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).; Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.; Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.; Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.; A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
