SAP Project Manager

You will join the Airbus organization as a Project Manager working on strategic S/4 Hana ERP transformation/on-going projects. The mission of the Quality PSL is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support digital transformation and efficient operations for customer services. Quality PSL manages several Applications in Project and RunMode for Aircraft production. IS Project management is the next level of accountability that Airbus India will host in the future. This position is a one off opportunity to pioneer it.

Responsibilities

Manage implementation project in line with ERP CoE strategy and SAP S/4 HANA recommendations (Clean Core); Understand the end to end business process; Handle communication with stakeholders effectively; Implement best practices of Project Management (delivery excellence, budget adherence, risks & opportunities management); Have strong collaborations with all project stakeholders; Ensure constant and effective communication with the business and the sponsors; Handle complex suppliers; Manage and prevent crisis situations; Build and develop the project team; Manage projects from requirements definition through deployment; Coordinate internal and external resources; Analyze project status and revise scope, schedule, or budget; Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders; Establish and maintain processes for managing scope; Assign and monitor resources; Report project outcomes and risks; Establish a concrete governance structure; Prepare roadmap for implementation projects with quality gates and milestones; Preparation of Test Strategy and experience in Test Automation; Define escalation matrix, communication plan; Experience in creation of ERP Roadmap

Requirements

Masters degree in Engineering; Strong working experience for SAP implementation projects as a Project Manager; 10 to 12 years of strong SAP experience; Strong functional/technical experience in SAP; Experience in handling green field implementation projects; Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines; Proven success working with all levels of management; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent presentation skills; Proactive problem solving approach; Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2; Experience in Agile Methodology; Knowledge on either of the tools ServiceNow, Agility or JIRA, Monitoring Tools; Strong reporting skills; Very strong English communication (written & verbal); Ability to absorb and retain information quickly; Good in dealing with cross-cultural business stakeholders; Ability to get things done; Ability to negotiate and influence people; Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
