Scientist / Senior Scientist, Protein Science

As a Scientist / Senior Scientist in Protein Sciences, you will serve as the primary client-facing lead, combining deep expertise in biologics with strategic project management to ensure the success of collaborative programs. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, translate scientific requirements into actionable plans, and oversee end-to-end project execution—aligning scientific teams, production, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary client-facing lead and point of contact for clients; Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines; Translate client requirements into actionable plans for scientific and production teams; Oversee project execution, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality deliverables on time and within scope; Provide regular progress updates to clients; Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams; Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare technical reports and presentations; Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and webinars; Complete other tasks assigned by superior(s)

Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Structural Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field; Experience with high throughput and/or scale-up processes for biologics production; Strong willingness to work in client-facing project management; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Expertise in mammalian cell culture systems and recombinant gene or protein production; Familiarity with industry practices, regulatory requirements and quality standards in biologics production; Excellent teamwork; 2+ years in antibody production, research, process development or technical services
