Titan Security is currently hiring unarmed Security Officers in the North Charleston, South Carolina area.

Responsibilities

Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property; Provide courteous assistance to guests, offering directions, answering questions, and creating a visible, approachable presence to enhance the overall visitor experience; Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, medical situations, or suspicious activity; Initiate appropriate action and coordinate with local authorities or emergency services as needed; Collaborate with the surveillance team to monitor CCTV systems and report irregular activities or safety concerns; Maintain detailed incident and activity reports, including logs of patrol rounds, observed hazards, and guest interactions; Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, lighting, and fire safety equipment to ensure all facilities are secure and operational; Promote awareness of property rules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures to guests and staff; Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to peacefully manage difficult situations or disputes between guests, vendors, or staff; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid driver's license and clean driving record; Ability to obtain and maintain a SLED security license or certification; Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions; Must be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check; Able to read, write, speak, and understand English; Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Nice to have

Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a customer-facing role preferred
