Responsibilities

Process such items as invoices, payment requests, etc.; Handles all vendor correspondence via phone, client requests or email; Works with Vendors to get updated information submitted such as address changes, banking information, etc; Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices; Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions; Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons; Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports; Responds to some routine, but more complex questions related to area of responsibility; Audit of Travel expenses and receipts; Payment enquiries from both external and internal.; Reviewing and processing Invoices, Non-PO Invoices, Pre-Approved/Pre-coded Invoices - SAP USA; Cash Disbursement Forecast Preparation and Submission; Reviewing vendor statements for completeness; Customer Refunds Processing; Prepare audit package; Review and Reconcile Process data

Requirements

Post Secondary education (CAT/ACCA, Diploma or Associate Degree); Formal, specialized, job-related training with 1-3 years related work experience; Proven working experience as accounts payable or accounts receivable clerk - Solid understanding or basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles; Hands-on experience with MS Office and ERP software such as SAP; High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Customer service orientation and negotiation skills; Some analytical skills to identify problems in business processes and to develop workable solutions. May require assistance to determine cross functional impact; Knowledge of company and departmental practice and procedures related to department activities-Exposure to Process Improvements and Transformation projects.
