Senior Backend Software Engineer - Consumer Wealth

Satispay exists to empower people through finance, making financial services easy and accessible for over 6.5M users. As Senior Backend Software Engineer in the Consumer Wealth team, you'll play a key role in shaping how our users grow and manage their savings and investments, as a technical expert for the Consumer domain, driving initiatives through savings products, invested money box, and investment solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, high-quality systems that solve complex financial engineering problems within the savings and wealth management back-end; Participate in architecting subsystems that power savings and investment features, ensuring cross-product consistency; Build relationships across teams to drive technical alignment and ensure smooth delivery of impactful features; Guide and mentor fellow engineers, championing a culture of high-quality engineering and continuous improvement; Own work from start to finish using the tech stack (PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, etc.)

Requirements

At least 5 years of related experience in back-end software engineering within product-based companies; Proven track record of building and maintaining microservices and cloud environments; Deep experience working with Java (or other OOP languages); Strong understanding of cloud platforms; Able to communicate in a structured and convincing manner, building trust with various stakeholders; Proven ability to share knowledge, review code critically, and help elevate the technical standards of the team; Passionate about empowering users to grow their savings through technology; Comfortable in fast-paced FinTech environments; Fluent in English
