Senior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst

To assist with the completion of market model evaluation(s) to inform and update the Company's internal view of risk, making recommendations for frequency and/or severity adjustments where appropriate

Responsibilities

To assist with the completion of market model evaluation(s) to inform and update the Company's internal view of risk, making recommendations for frequency and/or severity adjustments where appropriate; To ensure exposure data standards are well understood by Underwriting and actively monitored; To report and make data quality recommendations highlighting areas for improvement; To drive process efficiencies by embedding technology; To contribute towards a strategic roadmap, ensuring profitable portfolio growth and optimisation

Requirements

Excellent academic qualifications with a degree essential; Minimum 4 years’ catastrophe modelling experience; Experience of major vendor models RMS and/or AIR essential; Previous experience of catastrophe modelling and/or exposure management in the Lloyds market
