Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role: This role offers the opportunity to work in the beautiful Far North. You’ll take ownership of projects from initial client engagement through to design delivery, becoming a key point of contact for both technical and client enquiries. The work is varied and hands on, covering subdivisions, roading, stormwater, and infrastructure design. You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, while still being supported by a wider national civil team. This is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, contributing ideas, and working in an environment where your input is valued.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from client engagement through to design and delivery; Act as a key contact for clients and technical queries in the region; Deliver civil design across land development and infrastructure projects; Undertake site inspections and provide construction support where required; Collaborate with wider technical teams across multiple offices; Contribute to strengthening and growing the local client base

Requirements

BE (Civil) or equivalent; 6+ years’ experience within a New Zealand consultancy; Experience across civil design; Experienced in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D; Strong understanding of NZ standards and consenting processes; Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with clients and teams; Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence
