Senior Custody Nurse or Paramedic

Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with exact assessments and assuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. Looking at Rota gaps and covering as needed. You will manage the HCPs ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately. Acting as management you will work as a part of an integrated team with the Clinical lead and Lead senior to ensure that the local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the Forces specific needs.

Requirements

Qualified RN Adult, RMNs (with dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics; Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience; 3 years post qualification experience in General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service as an Adult RN; 3 years UK residency; Current manual driving license with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals; All candidates subject to police vetting checks
