Senior Designer (Freelance)

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Designer to join us on a freelance basis.

Responsibilities

Lead design for our digital healthcare brands and capabilities, working across product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders; Drive high-quality execution across email, mobile apps and web, ensuring our products are accessible, scalable, and delightful; Contribute to growing the team by modeling what excellent design looks like and providing thoughtful feedback; Rapidly iterate on designs, collaborating with the Engineers to support evolving requirements from problem-identification through to product release; Turn complexity into clarity - bring delight and value to our customers, not just what is asked for

Requirements

3-5+ years as an experienced product designer; track record of leading design on complex, high-stakes initiatives; craft leader: detail-oriented, thoughtful, and rigorous in how you explore, validate, and execute design solutions; strong collaborator with experience pairing closely with PMs, engineers, content designers, and stakeholders across disciplines; comfortable navigating ambiguity, bringing clarity to fuzzy problems, and driving alignment with velocity; takes initiative and ownership while remaining flexible; adaptable and pragmatic, delivers quality solutions within existing constraints; makes effective decisions with the bigger picture and opportunity costs in mind; strong understanding of design processes, and knows when to, and when not to, implement them
