Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DSP Engineer to join our employee owned organization in Sarasota, FL. What you’ll do: Research, design and implement advanced signal-processing algorithms in software for a variety of RF applications. Work as an individual principal investigator or as part of a small team of engineers. Perform RF signal and data analysis, reverse engineering, simulation and modeling. Implement new algorithms in C/C++ and Python. Support transition of algorithms to real-time, high-performance production computing environments.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required; Security clearance not required to apply or at time of hire, but ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance is a condition of continued employment; BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required; Demonstrated programming skills required with experience in scientific programming

Nice to have

Strong background and experience in one or more of the following fields: signal processing, digital communications, detection and estimation theory, remote sensing, radar signal processing, adaptive antenna array processing, navigation/geolocation; Expertise in algorithm development for defense contacts; 7+ years of experience in digital signal processing; Experience with implementation of signal processing algorithms in C/C++ and Python; Some experience with Linux and open source tool chains; Experience with software defined radio (SDR), baseband architecture, RF architecture and/or wireless propagation and modeling; Experience with modern communications protocols including LTE, WCDMA, GSM, 802.11, or 802.16; Knowledge of numerical linear algebra
