Senior Director, Growth Technology & Platforms

Marketing is becoming more data-driven, automated, and AI-enabled, and the technology behind it needs to evolve just as quickly. Across Match Group, the Global Media & Growth organization supports paid acquisition and organic growth for Tinder, Hinge, Match, and the broader portfolio. The Senior Director, Growth Technology & Platforms will lead the team responsible for MarTech Engineering, Marketing Data Foundations, Technical Program Management, and Organic Growth, leading and growing a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10. Near-term priorities include improving mobile measurement and optimization signals; scaling AI-powered campaign automation and performance intelligence; advancing creative technology and experimentation; and strengthening data foundations.

Responsibilities

Set the growth technology strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities, translating paid and organic acquisition needs into scalable capabilities; Make build, buy, and partner decisions that maximize the value of technology investments; Lead and grow a multidisciplinary organization spanning engineering, data foundations, technical program management, and Organic Growth, establishing clear ownership and operating rhythms; Lead the technical capabilities that power paid acquisition across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Apple Ads, including mobile measurement, conversion tracking, event and predictive value signals, audience activation, campaign automation, and creative performance intelligence; Build shared technology and trusted marketing data infrastructure in partnership with Core Data, Analytics, and Engineering; Scale AI-enabled capabilities for campaign management, performance intelligence, creative testing, and human-in-the-loop agentic workflows; Build shared creative infrastructure, asset governance, and performance feedback loops, and advance acquisition experimentation and landing-page optimization; Build a centralized Organic Growth capability across SEO, ASO, GEO, and AI Search; Partner with brand and functional leaders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and AI/ML to identify and mobilize high-value opportunities

Requirements

12+ years in marketing technology, growth engineering, advertising technology, or platform leadership, with experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams; Owned a technology or platform strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities, including build/buy decisions and accountability for business impact; Understanding of paid acquisition and performance marketing technology, including mobile measurement, conversion tracking, optimization signals, audience activation, and campaign automation; Technical depth to engage credibly with senior engineers, evaluate architecture and platform tradeoffs, and understand how data, identity, measurement, and automation connect; Experience partnering with Analytics, Data Science, or ML teams to turn measurement needs and predictive models into scalable growth capabilities, and applying AI-enabled automation to marketing workflows; Ability to lead effectively across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, and Analytics, communicating strategy, tradeoffs, and investment recommendations clearly to senior leaders
