Senior Engineering Manager, Community Engagement

Community Engagement builds the social heart of Strava — clubs and events, follower experiences, kudos, and shareables. These are the features that turn solo effort into shared momentum and keep athletes coming back for each other, not just their own stats. As Senior Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of 12 (a tech-lead manager and eleven engineers) that owns this social fabric. You'll set the technical and product direction for the team, coach the tech-lead manager and senior engineers, and partner closely with Product and Design to shape and ship the social roadmap. You'll stay close to the technical detail and make sharp trade-off calls, while being accountable for your team's delivery, quality, and growth. We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site in our Denver office, three days per week.
