Senior Engineering Manager

Pennylane is one of the fastest growing Fintechs in France. As we scale and increase the number of Squads, we are looking for a new senior engineering manager to help us drive and mentor those squads. As a Senior Engineering Manager on the track level, you'll directly report to one of our Co-Founders & CTO or the Head of Engineering and you'll be managing several Engineering Managers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Managing several Engineering Managers on a daily basis ("manager of managers"); Helping drive and mentor squads; Working closely with a Group Product Manager and Product Design Manager; Collaborating with other Senior Engineering Managers; Ensuring quality and efficiency standards; Identifying developers' key strengths and areas of improvement; Setting up appropriate processes as the team grows; Providing leadership within the senior tech community; Working on cross-team or transversal initiatives; Participating in scaling the Pennylane application

Requirements

Significant experience managing engineering teams (including the "management of managers"); Fluent in English
