Senior Manager, Social Media

Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Manager, Social Media to join our growing team! For us, social isn’t just a channel — it’s a craft. Our Social Media team blends deep healthcare expertise with sharp strategy, standout content and data-driven execution to help clients show up with purpose across platforms. This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. This role will primarily support East Coast working hours; candidates based on the West Coast may be considered if they are comfortable working East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

Help clients and internal teams connect organic and paid social within healthcare communications programs; Turn platform best practices, cultural trends and healthcare requirements into compliant recommendations; Support paid social from planning and setup through trafficking, optimization and performance reporting; Use platform insights and campaign data to improve work; Write clear, compelling, platform-native copy for organic and paid social campaigns; Team up with creative partners to develop social-first content; Use AI tools and Canva for content workflow; Keep brand, compliance and quality standards high; Be a trusted day-to-day social media partner across healthcare accounts; Keep work moving with follow-ups, feedback tracking and next-step management; Work with account, paid social, earned and digital media teams to bring integrated social programs to life

Requirements

5+ years of social media experience; 2–4 years of hands-on paid social experience, including setup, trafficking, optimization and performance reporting; College degree required; Strong command of major social platforms and understanding of audience usage; Proven ability to write, edit and publish short- and long-form social content; Experience with social media buying platforms such as Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads; Comfort using Canva, AI-enabled tools and Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; Embodies company values and Real Chemistry Can mindset; Adaptable, resilient, proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented with strong prioritization skills and curiosity about smarter ways of working

Nice to have

Regulated industry experience, such as biotech, pharmaceutical or financial services; BA or equivalent; Agency experience in a client-facing role; Understanding of FDA regulations for social media in biotech/pharma; Meta Blueprint or similar certifications
