Senior Project Architect - Healthcare

Shepley Bulfinch is seeking a well-rounded Senior Healthcare Project Architect who is creative and passionate about architecture, curious about solving complex problems, and looking to grow and learn from others that share the same values.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of 3-10 people; Establish project workplans (staffing, budget, schedule); Fulfill contractual, financial and cost control responsibilities; Lead or assist on internal production and delivery of architectural drawings; Interface with clients; Lead meetings during construction administration phase; Maintain positive working relationships with clients and contractors; Healthcare-specific planning and client relationships

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience working on all phases of architectural projects; Prior experience with healthcare facility design; B.Arch., M.Arch. or equivalent degree; Proficiency in healthcare regulations and codes; Significant experience managing and using Revit for architectural documentation; Experience reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs and revising documents in Revit; Up to 20% travel expected regionally and nationally
