Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its project management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to work across a developing pipeline of commercial, residential, and education projects while taking a leading role in client delivery. The Senior Project Manager will manage projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. This Senior Project Manager role would suit an experienced Senior Project Manager who is confident leading commissions, managing multidisciplinary teams, and supporting fee proposals for new opportunities. The successful Senior Project Manager will join an ambitious consultancy with the opportunity to help shape future project delivery as the London workload expands. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial, residential, and education projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages; Project planning; Programme management; Consultant coordination; Procurement; Contract administration; Risk management; Reporting; Stakeholder engagement; Chair meetings; Monitor project performance; Manage change control; Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality; Support preparation of fee proposals; Contribute to bids; Maintain strong client relationships; Help secure repeat business; Mentor junior team members; Support continued development of the project management service

Requirements

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy; Strong experience delivering commercial, residential, or education projects; Experience leading projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages; A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline; MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification; Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement; Experience preparing fee proposals or supporting bids; Strong client-facing, leadership, and communication skills; The ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple commissions; A commercial, organised, and proactive approach
