Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android) - (Milan)

The mobile app is our primary point of interaction with members. It allows users to control and configure our product and helps them gain insights. We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has experience within a hyper-growth start-up that has shipped pixel-perfect mobile apps with beautiful animations. We want someone with a high bar for product quality, technical prowess, and a passion for health tech and wellness. You will conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize the app performance to enhance the experience of our members.

Responsibilities

Work closely with other Engineers (backend, firmware, ML), departments (R&D, Growth, Hardware), and Executives (CEO, CPO, VPs); Conduct code reviews; Ensure code quality; Optimize app performance to enhance the experience of our members

Requirements

6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps; Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI; Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps; Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability

Nice to have

Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose; Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field; Experience working with Health related apps and peripherals
