Senior Venture Capital Counsel – Energy Sector

Jameson Legal is working with a highly reputed and significant entity based in Saudi Arabia. The company has a very well-established legal department that is going through an exciting growth project. As part of this growth curve the Corporate department is looking to bring in a Senior Counsel with a specialism in Venture Capital. The ideal candidate will possess a substantial track record as a Venture Capital Lawyer, having developed their knowledge of VC investments including the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of transactions. The successful individual will have a minimum of five years’ post qualification experience gained in an international law firm and experience gained in-house would be desirable, though not essential. Location: Saudi Arabia. Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with experience + comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Substantial track record as a Venture Capital Lawyer; Developed knowledge of VC investments including the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of transactions; Minimum of five years' post qualification experience gained in an international law firm

Nice to have

Experience gained in-house would be desirable, though not essential; Prior experience within Saudi Arabia or broader Gulf region would be highly regarded
