Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Acquire a deep and thorough understanding of assigned product feature from a business, end-user, and technical perspective; Identify risks, issues, and problems on the product feature and propose mitigation steps; Prepare test strategy, test design, and test specifications for the full testing cycle of the feature; Manage the assigned pool of testers to execute the needed tests; Own and be the point person for assigned product feature; Account for and review the quality of assigned product feature; Prepare documentations and conduct demonstrations of the product feature; Collaborate with, address clarifications of and provide assistance to the support, sales, marketing, and development teams; Develop test plans and procedures for application-level and integration testing; Execute manual tests; Perform defect analysis and reporting; Verify applied fixes or enhancements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree holder of any course and willing to pursue a career in IT; Analytical and problem solver; Accurate and has keen attention to details; Autonomous thinker with experience in managing his/her own tasks while working on strict deadlines; Organized; Excellent communicator; A leader and a team player
