Sommelier

We are currently looking for a Sommelier to join our team of associates in Holborn Dining Room at Rosewood London. Our Sommelier works closely with the Head Sommelier to ensure the wine offering in our busy brasserie enhances the guest experience and a warm and genuine service is delivered at all times. A grand brasserie set in the heart of London, Holborn Dining Room serves up Seasonal British cuisine with a twist in a vibrantly bustling dining salon. Combining reclaimed oak with antique mirrors, red leather banquettes with tweed detailing, and two antique patina copper-topped bars.

Responsibilities

Delivering all aspects of the guest experience according to Rosewood standards on the brasserie floor; Possessing a sound knowledge of wines and London's restaurant industry; Ensuring that all stations are equipped with sufficient clean, glasses, decanters and all other service ware; Responding to any menu / drinks queries with knowledgeable, informative and engaging answers

Requirements

The ability to influence others through skill and knowledge; Being highly organised and proactive in managing your tasks; Possessing a sound understanding of the wine industry and trends; Having a passion for wine and wanting to take ownership of the guests' wine experience; All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK
