Responsibilities

provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to mental health wards; undertake ward visits and work closely with multidisciplinary teams; clinically screen and review prescriptions; support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives; supervise and support ACT Pharmacy Technicians within the dispensary; contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across the trust

Requirements

current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist; substantial NHS hospital pharmacy experience; previous Mental Health Pharmacy experience (essential); strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills; excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities; ability to work independently within a specialist clinical environment
