Structural Project Engineer - Bridge Design

Lochmueller Group is looking for a talented Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our Structural Engineering team in Missouri. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience as a project engineer and/or project manager working on DOT or local agency bridge design projects. Responsibilities

Perform as a project engineer and/or project manager on a variety of DOT and local agency projects related to bridge design; Apply advanced, specialized knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge design; Work on a major project or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features; Leading the preparation of complete design and construction documents for bridge projects; Plan and coordinate aspects of the engineering work; Provide bridge inspection services; Assist management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor; Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments; Assist with preparation of proposals and funding applications; As opportunities present themselves, this role may also be involved in other various responsibilities and projects

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE); 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects; Experience as a project engineer and/or project manager on DOT or local agency bridge design projects; Exceptional organization skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work individually or as part of a team

Structural emphasis in Civil Engineering; Experience with project management and accounting software
