Support Worker - Ellasdale

Aspens Charities provides high-quality care and support to individuals on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities across the South-East. Ellasdale Road is a three-storey semi-detached house in Bognor Regis providing 24/7 care with autism-specific communication systems such as PECS. The Support Worker will help residents live as independently as possible, support daily activities, carry out person-centred support plans, administer medication, and complete daily reports.

Responsibilities

Supporting daily activities including baking, arts and crafts, swimming and bowling; Carrying out person-centred support plans including personal care; Following risk assessments; Administering medication; Completing daily reports; Supporting residents to live as independently as possible; Encouraging community integration and participation in meaningful daytime activities

Requirements

Driving licence and access to vehicle; Flexibility with working pattern; Friendly and hard-working with a fun spirit and good sense of humour; Caring person passionate about empowering others; Ready to learn new skills
