Support Worker

Airmid Healthcare are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers for work based in the Worcester area. Paying up to £19, we have regular work available for the right candidates, with both Full Time and Part Time work available. This is not your typical support worker role. You’ll be supporting individuals with Autism to live a fulfilling life, explore their interests, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences both at home and within the community.

Responsibilities

Building a positive and trusting relationship with clients; Encouraging clients to engage in activities that matter to them and promote their independence; Completing daily records and interactions using the digital care management system; Contributing to support planning and positive outcomes; Following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies; Assisting with household responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, maintaining the vehicle, staff areas, and grounds; Working collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to ensure high-quality support is delivered at all times

Requirements

Mandatory Health and Social Care Training; CPI/MAPA Training; Experience supporting individuals with Autism; Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed support; Knowledge and understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS); Strong communication and relationship-building skills; A calm, patient, and professional approach; Reliability and genuine commitment to person centred support
