Team Lead, Software Engineering

We're looking for a Team Lead to take a first step into engineering leadership at OneTrust. Team Leads provide day-to-day technical guidance and coaching to a small group of engineers, while remaining hands-on contributors themselves.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day coaching and technical guidance to a small group of engineers; Support the team's manager with performance check-ins and development conversations; Help the team break down, plan, and deliver on sprint commitments; Stay hands-on, contributing code and design work on critical initiatives alongside your team; Partner with Product and UX to clarify requirements and surface technical considerations early

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; 4+ years of professional software engineering experience; Experience informally guiding or mentoring other engineers; Strong technical foundation in frontend and/or backend development relevant to OneTrust's platform; Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar) in your own work; Experience helping the engineers you support start using them effectively
