As Team Leader in the Assembly at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that every component is installed correctly and to the highest quality in the car body arriving from the Paint Shop — ensuring that a complete vehicle leaves the assembly line.

Responsibilities

Mostly manual assembly processes, where hundreds of colleagues work during each shift to ensure every component is installed correctly; as group leader of a production team of 6-9 members, support team in executing assembly tasks and step in to take over tasks if necessary; ensure training and mentoring of team members; ensure production within your area is carried out properly and meets quality standards, achieving set targets; accountable for continuous and smooth operation of production; ensure prompt and effective resolution of emerging issues; ensure team is staffed with necessary number of employees for efficient production; initiate improvement processes involving team and oversee implementation

Requirements

At least a secondary school diploma; at least 3 years of professional experience in leading teams in a production or manufacturing environment; native-level Hungarian; familiarity with process and quality optimization tools; ability to work and communicate effectively in a team, with a strong commitment to continuous self-development; excellent communication skills; willingness to work in permanent night shift

Nice to have

technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field of study
