Technical Lead - Fullstack (C++/QT/QML)

A vacancy for a Tech Lead with expertise in FrontEnd development has arisen within Airbus India in Bangalore. You will join the Software Development team within the Digital department for a specific domain - Skywise. Following best IT practices and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), the team developed software products on iOS/iPad, web applications, etc. that can be used by pilots. As a member of the Software Factory (Skywise) team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using QT / QML/ C++. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving application performance and documenting our front-end codebase. We are looking for a high energy, team player as part of a squad and you will support all aspects of software development including estimates, coding and testing, automation and support of solutions and their deployment process.

Responsibilities

Lead the software development team technically on all SDLC aspects as well as coding/debugging/testing; Perform code reviews for team members and suggest improvements; Propose low-level design in line with software architecture principles; Work closely with Solution Architects to understand application needs and identify the best design choice; Responsible for quality delivery and do right the first time; Coding, testing, documenting and debugging assigned development tasks; Support agile development concepts and participate in SAFe process; Strong stakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholders; Actively participate in the techlead community of practice driving quality mindset

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, information technology or other related discipline with 11-15 years of experience; Strong experience working in Web and Mobile frontend technologies; Experience in following an agile methodology (SCRUM, KABAN, SAFe); Web and mobile application development; C++ / QT / QML; Relational database; REST APIs; Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project; English: advanced level both verbal and written; Passion for technology and problem solving are a must have
