Technical Project Manager

As impact.com continues to scale its global partnership management platform, our product offering and distributed system architectures grow increasingly interconnected. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) role is established within the Product Operations sub-department to resolve these challenges. By serving as the operational connective tissue across squads, the TPM ensures that multi-team technical programs are planned with rigor, executed with agility, and delivered with predictability.

Responsibilities

End-to-end delivery of complex multi-team technical programs; Agile program ceremonies, cross-squad sprint reviews, program-level syncs, and joint retrospectives; Maintain Jira tracking and Confluence documentation; Identify and resolve scope creep, resource constraints, technical blockers, and dependencies; Define program milestones, success metrics, and report progress to leadership; Serve as operational link across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, and business teams; Author stakeholder communication plans and facilitate trade-off discussions; Coach squads in Scrum/Kanban practices and run post-mortems; Build TPM practice with templates, playbooks, and dashboards; Use generative AI tools to accelerate documentation and communication; Engage with technical architectures, APIs, and cloud infrastructure

Requirements

5+ years of dedicated technical project or program management experience; Proven track record guiding complex multi-team programs with interdependencies; Deep command of Agile/Scrum methodologies; Advanced hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence; Ability to understand technical architectures, API integrations, and system infrastructure; Demonstrated experience using AI productivity tools; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent certifications; Familiarity with LLM-based product workflows, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or model fine-tuning; Experience with scaling B2B SaaS platform or multi-sided marketplace; Understanding of AWS/GCP, CI/CD, and microservices; Experience building or maturing a TPM function, PMO, or shared delivery playbook
