Life in this role

As part of our, Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Transport Support Operator.

Salary: £27,119 per annum, plus £1,000 attendance bonus.

Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am.

What you’ll need ...

Responsibilities

Correctly debriefing drivers.; Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.; Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.; Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.; Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.; Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.; Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.; Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.; Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to, change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.; Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).; Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.

Requirements

Attention to detail / accuracy.; Ability to work without direct supervision.; Positive and adaptable attitude.; Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.; Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.; Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.; Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
