Twilight Manager

At Asda, we want you to Find Your Everything and as our Twilight Manager, you will manage and lead a critical shift transitioning from day to night, ensuring we are delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards across all departments, whilst ensuring our store remains safe and legal for our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Drive strategy into action by planning and executing trading activity on the shopfloor during the twilight shift, ensuring great availability standards and key metrics and KRAs through routine and process; Lead and coach colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shopfloor standards and a culture of selling customers with personality, serving with heart and pride; Ensure the shopfloor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the night team; Listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership, and support the development of the team; Manage and lead a critical shift transitioning from day to night, ensuring the store remains safe and legal for customers and colleagues; Work a rolling rota of 5 shifts over 7, including weekend working between 14.00 and midnight

Requirements

Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment; Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people; Confidence in developing teams and managing change; Strong customer service focus; Flexibility to work a range of twilight shifts, including weekends
