AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Urban Designer in New York, NY.

Job Details

- Lead urban design and public realm planning for transportation and infrastructure projects including streetscapes, transit corridors, waterfront resiliency improvements, and multimodal public spaces
- Produce technical urban design drawings including site plans, sections, grading concepts, streetscape layouts, and spatial design diagrams for planning and construction coordination
- Manage project staffing, internal coordination, and resource planning
- Contribute to business development efforts including proposal development and client presentations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate civil, structural, transportation, and environmental systems into viable design solutions
- Prepare presentation materials, design reports, and planning documentation for clients, agencies, and regulatory review processes
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field of study and 4 years of experience as an Urban Designer, Architectural Designer, or in a related occupation.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as an Urban Designer, Architectural Designer, or in a related occupation.
