Warehouse Clerk

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI, on Day Shift. The position is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Land 'N' Sea Distributing is a full service, wholesale only distributor, serving the Marine and RV industries for over 50 years. Responsibilities

Operate forklift or use hand truck to move equipment and parts; Comply with all quality standards and policies; Maintain a clean and safe work area; Accurately pick, pack, and ship parts; Fill orders by removing correct parts and identifying part numbers and quantities; Determine method of shipment and pack accordingly; Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents for conformance to specifications; Receive and unpack merchandise and verify accuracy of deliveries; Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials; Confirm proper location of merchandise; Ensure production area organization and cleanliness; Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations

Requirements

Knowledge typically obtained with high school or equivalent diploma; Must have dependable attendance and be a team player; Prior forklift certification or willing to become forklift certified

Nice to have

Basic computer skills helpful; Prior warehouse experience a plus
