Warehouse Person

Under the general direction of the Parts Supervisor, the Warehouse Person fills parts orders, stocks incoming parts, makes hoses, and performs other warehouse duties as directed.

Responsibilities

Fills parts orders from stock and delivers them to the designated in-house area; Stocks incoming parts shipments and customer returns and notes discrepancies; Ensures that all items leaving the warehouse are recorded and signed by an authorized person; Counts inventory as required; Loads and unloads trucks and containers; Operates material handling equipment; Makes occasional pickups and deliveries using the company vehicle; Makes hydraulic hose assemblies; Adheres strictly to all company safety rules; Performs daily warehouse cleanup duties; Performs other warehouse and parts department duties as required

Requirements

Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record; Must have PC skills; Must be forklift certified or able to be certified within 60 days of hire; Must have an understanding of warehouse duties; Must have a complete understanding of shipping and receiving procedures; Must have a complete understanding of freight recovery procedures
