Warehouse Powered Industrial Truck Operator II

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled and energetic Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our growing team of professionals. Our equipment operators perform many different tasks; for example, receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading product as it is picked.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using power equipment; Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; Perform daily inspection on assigned equipment; Receive and put away inbound shipments safely; Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact number and type; Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers or containers; Operate Reach Truck, Order Selector, Double Walkie Rider, and Forklift safely following work methods and OSHA standards; Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; Report quality variances as needed; Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain inventory control; Assist in physical inventories; Ensure proper stock rotation; Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; Assist in maintaining warehouse security; Comply with OSHA and other applicable standards; Support and abide by the company's safety program

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift; Able to speak clearly and listen attentively; Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and orally), remembering their sequence, basic math skills, and identifying numeric and alphanumeric sequences accurately and rapidly; Basic computer usage skills; Ability to lift and carry objects typically 25 to 50 pounds or more; Ability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment throughout the warehouse; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and reach; Ability to climb ladders or stairs and work at heights; Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers; Manual dexterity; Ability to perform repetitive tasks; Physical endurance to work in a fast-paced environment; Safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols
